Over the past decade, Philipp Skribanowitz, our visionary co-founder, has steered Mimi towards success, enriching the lives of countless individuals worldwide with improved hearing experiences. His journey, which included securing multiple funding rounds, adeptly guiding the company through the challenges of a global pandemic, and forging 18 pivotal partnerships, has led Mimi to its current position of prominence.
Throughout 2023 alone, Mimi’s technology has seamlessly integrated into the lives of millions, being featured on devices from industry leaders including Nothing, boAt, Skullcandy, Philips, Teufel, and beyerdynamic. With more exciting launches on the horizon, nearly 4 million hearing profiles in the Mimi Hearing Test App, and Mimi’s patent portfolio at an impressive 81 patents, these achievements are all a testament to Philipp’s leadership and the team’s commitment to innovation and providing the best-personalized and healthiest listening experiences for users.
Moving forward, Philipp will step away from his current position as CEO, and pivot his focus towards his new role on the advisory board as an Executive Board Member.
Stepping into the role of CEO will be Florian Schneidmadel.
Florian’s tenure as Chief Product Officer for the past three years has equipped him with an in-depth understanding of our company, our products, and the intricacies of our industry. With his extensive background spanning 18 years in leadership roles, including his role as VP of Product at Native Instruments, Florian embodies a wealth of experience in product, technology, sales, marketing, organization building and strategic leadership. He brings his academic foundation in engineering (media technology) coupled with his work with the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology.
Guided by Florian’s dynamic leadership, Mimi’s management team, composed of Corinna Herbst as COO and Michael Hirsch as CTO, is ready to drive Mimi to even greater heights.
