Mimi closes a successful MWC 2022 in Barcelona

A great MWC 2022 in Barcelona  lies behind us: From February 28 to March 3, Mimi Head of Sales Chris Keeling, and Ian Ritchey, Head of Business Development and Partnerships, enjoyed four days of connecting and reconnecting.

Innovation and inspiration for hearing technology

This year, MWC welcomed over 60,000 visitors from almost 200 countries and territories. This presented a great opportunity for us to highlight the importance of Hearing Wellbeing and showcase our technology to even more people.

We were especially happy to present Mimi’s products and solutions live at the industry’s largest and most influential connectivity event. Connecting with industry leaders and innovators from around the globe and exchanging views and insights into current developments and the digital community truly inspired us.

We were delighted to see that attendees were very much aware of sound personalization and what role it can play for improving hearing wellbeing and enhancing listening experiences. It showed us once more how important accessible, easy to integrate solutions to improving hearing health are needed. We know from the researchers and engineers who work at Mimi and have worked across a range of audio specialties, that personalizing audio not only improves the quality of the listening experience, but also makes for a healthier experience.

We were delighted to explain and demo how Mimi’s proven approach to sound personalization can be easily integrated into many smartphones and consumer audio devices and provide an even better and healthier listening experience to users.

MWC 2022 main topics and must-sees

Besides exchanging views and  experiences, this year’s MWC 2022 focused on key technological changes in uncertain times: how to build effective policies for a digital world, maximize the potential of 5G, close the digital gap, and meet global climate targets.

The definite must-see space at MWC 2022 aside from the Mimi booth was Industry City: Here, visitors had the chance to experience robotics and smart mobility topics through interactive metaverse tours and demonstrations.

MWC 2022  also provided a platform for small businesses and startups, uniting the big players in the tech and mobile industry with innovative entrepreneurship. Focusing on the local startup community, the event featured the 4YFN (Four Years from Now) programme and welcomed over 500 international startups and over 300 speakers to share insights on how to boost the ecosystem.

Thanks to all the people and partners we enjoyed meeting at this year’s MWC. Hoping to see you all again in 2023!
