This month, Skullcandy launched two new additions to its Crusher lineup: the Crusher 1080 ANC and the Crusher 720.

The Crusher 1080 ANC ($279.99) is the most advanced headphone in Skullcandy's history, and the first Skullcandy product to combine Sound by Bose technology with Mimi Sound Personalization.

It brings together Skullcandy's signature multi-sensory Crusher bass with a full suite of premium Sound by Bose technologies, including Bose QuietControl 6-mic adaptive Acoustic Noise Cancellation, Bose TrueSpatial with head tracking, and Bose WaveForm Audio Engine. The result is a listening experience designed to feel less like wearing headphones and more like standing front row at a concert.

That premium foundation is further enhanced with Mimi Sound Personalization.

Skullcandy Personal Sound by Mimi is an advanced sound personalization technology built directly into compatible Skullcandy headphones. The technology adapts audio to the user’s specific hearing profile, not a generic preset. The result: clearer detail, restored details you may be missing, safer listening over time, and a more immersive experience.

On a headphone built around Bose-grade sound quality, that personalization ensures every listener gets the full benefit of the engineering underneath.

Crusher 720: Personal sound meets immersive spatial audio

Skullcandy also launched the Crusher 720 ($209.99). At the heart of these headphones is Skullcandy’s patented adjustable Crusher® Bass technology—the one-of-a-kind sensory bass experience that lets listeners feel every beat, not just hear it. With an adjustable bass wheel, users can customize the intensity from subtle rumble to full-body sensation, creating a listening experience unlike any other. Paired with THXR® Spatial Audio, Crusher 720 surrounds listeners with immersive, three-dimensional sound for entertainment that hits on every level.

Crusher 720 also features Personal Sound by Mimi, giving listeners the same core benefit as its higher-end sibling: audio tuned to their individual hearing profile. By compensating for what a listener's ear might otherwise miss, Personal Sound helps surface more of the detail, layering, and depth already built into the Crusher 720's THX-powered sound stage.
