Mimi Hearing collects, processes, and uses the personal data solely for the purpose to provide the agreed services within the meaning of § 2 Scope of Services of the terms and conditions.
Mimi Hearing reserves the right to provide anonymous data for research purposes.
Complete anonymity within the meaning of this agreement means that it can no longer conclude from the information – or only with disproportionate investment of time, cost and manpower – to the user as an individual person.
Any data will only be disclosed to third parties or otherwise transferred if it is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract, or the user has previously consented.
Please note that transferring data over the Internet (e.g. email communication) can be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.
The website / app uses Google Analytics, a Google Inc. (“Google”) web analysis service. Google Analytics use “cookies”, text files stored on your computer / smartphone that enable analysis of your website / app usage. Information generated by the cookie about the use of this website or app is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. On this website / app, IP addresses within the European Union Member States or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area are first shortened by Google.
Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. Google uses this information on behalf of the website / app operator to evaluate the use of the website, generate reports on website activity and to provide the website / app operator with other services in relation to website / app usage and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted from the browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with any other Google data.
The user can prevent cookies from being saved by adjusting the browser settings; however, please note that this may result in you not being able to fully use all features of this website / app. The user can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie relating to the use of the site / app (including the IP address) by downloading and installing the following browser plugin: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
In addition, the usage statistics and analysis technology “adjust.io” is used, a service offered by Adjust GmbH (“Adjust”). When the user opens the app, Adjust collects installation and event data, such as “app opened” and “account opened”. Mimi Hearing uses this anonymized information to understand how the users interact with the app, and to analyze mobile ad campaigns. It is not possible to individually identify anyone.
With such so-called persistent cookies, Mimi Hearing uses a pseudonym to protect user data.
Mimi Hearing’s temporary cookies, however, are not separately encrypted.
Reading by third parties will be prevented by the safety standards of the user’s internet browser.
Periodically, the user can find instructions by using the help function of the internet browser, as he/she can instruct his browser to display new Cookies, to accept no new cookie, or to disable cookies altogether.
Moreover, the user can object the creation of a cookie-based user profile at any time.
4. Privacy protection
Mimi Hearing is committed to protect the user’s privacy and insures to collect the personal data in accordance with the German Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act to use and process it for the fulfillment of the purposes defined in § 2 of the terms and conditions. Mimi Hearing will also commit its employees to that task.
