Accessibility Note -
Hearing Number App

Last updated: September 25 2024

This accessibility note applies to the Hearing Number App (“App”) developed and published by Mimi Hearing Technologies GmbH for and in cooperation with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (“we”).

Digital accessibility is highly relevant to us and we endeavor to make our mobile application accessible, usable and readable by the widest range of users, including those with disabilities.

The basis for this note is a voluntary self-assessment of the App’s compatibility with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA, Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council), Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) and German Law on Accessibility (BFSG).

The App is currently only compliant with accessibility requirements to a limited extent. Even though we are not yet legally obligated to comply with accessibility provisions, we make greatest effort to improve the App gradually in the coming months.

Your feedback is appreciated. If you notice any specific shortcomings in terms of accessible design, we would be grateful if you provide feedback by email to: support@hearingnumber.org.
